We Say
R222 100% Carnauba Wax is aimed squarely at enthusiasts who prioritise visual impact above everything else. This is a high-carnauba formulation designed to maximise paint depth, warmth and gloss, particularly on dark and solid colours where subtle differences are most noticeable.
Compared to the standard R222 Carnauba Wax, the finish here is richer and more saturated. The paint takes on a deeper, wetter look with a noticeably smoother feel, making it a popular choice for show preparation and concours-style detailing where appearance is the primary goal.
As you’d expect from a wax of this type, durability isn’t the headline feature. This is about short-term visual perfection rather than long-term protection, and it rewards careful application on well-prepared paintwork. The wax spreads cleanly, buffs off without drama, and leaves a finish that looks natural rather than overly sharp.
In our opinion, this is the wax we reach for when the brief is simple: make the paint look as good as it possibly can for an event, a photoshoot or a special occasion. It’s not an everyday solution, but for maximum gloss and depth, it earns its place on the shelf.
