Lightly marred and lightly swirled paint is often the biggest issue faced by vehicle owners and those looking to correct their paintwork. However with the evolution of harder more scratch resistant paints even tackling these lighter forms of paintwork defects can be quite a difficult task. Use to strong a pad and polish and you can cut harder than necessary and even create more work from the marring this type of polish can leave behind. It's for this reason the chemists at Menzerna developed this pad and polish combination.

The Menzerna Soft Cut Pad is one of our absolute favourite pads. Why, because it's flexible and easy to work with but maintains its It works well with all water based polishes shape even under load. It works well with all water based polishes creating a high gloss finish even on delicate paints.

The Menzerna soft cut pad features a bevelled, low profile edge with a tighter cell structure, holding the polish at the surface of the pad, which in simple terms makes it quicker and easier to fully break down the diminishing polishes for a perfect marr free finish.

Description

The Menzerna Soft Cut Pad is designed to remove holograms and streaks in combination with Menzerna Finishing polishes, namely Menzerna Super Finish 3500 or the slightly lighter cut Menzerna Super Finish 3800.

The Menzerna Soft Cut Pad was developed specifically to work in harmony with the range of Menzerna finishing polishes to guarantee a deep shine and perfect show-car finish.

The new Menzerna premium pad range are colour coded to match each step of the polishing process and feature a flat face with central hole to help ensure the pad stays cool longer. On the back they feature a high quality durable, heat resistant velcro and gradual angled edge to decrease pad wear.

How To Use

(i) Always select the least aggressive pad you think you will need to achieve the desired result, and step up one grade at a time if more cut is required

(ii) Always ensure that you centre each pad properly on the backing plate (this can take several attempts to get right, but is vital if the machine is to remain perfectly balanced during use);

(iii) Always use an appropriate sized pad for the backing plate you are using (the pad should always protrude past the edge of the backing plate, never the other way around);

(iv) Always prime a new pad by loading it with 3-4 pea-sized drops of product for 95mm pads & 5 pea sized drops for 125mm pads and running it stationary on the paint for 30 seconds at low speed;

(v) Always ensure that spent polish residue on the face of the pad is brushed off regularly during use using a PB Utility Brush (failure to follow this advice can lead to micromarring of the finish, so don't be lazy!);

(vi) After use, soak each pad in a bucket of PB Snappy Clean Boost solution for 15 minutes and then rinse under fresh running water (using your fingertips to massage out any remaining polish residue) and allow to dry naturally, and;

(vii) While not in use, store in a dry, dust-free environment (lidded plastic storage boxes are ideal in this respect).
