Meguiar's Ultimate Polish

£18.95

We Say

Meguiar's Ultimate Polish is a combined finishing polish and glaze that eliminates wash marring and fine swirl marks, masks deeper paint defects, and dramatically enhances gloss in order to create the illusion that paint is dripping wet ahead of an application of sealant or wax protection. We recommend applying it once or twice a year in order to maintain your finish in tip top condition.

Description

Meguiar's Ultimate Polish is a combined finishing polish and glaze designed to maximise reflectivity and gloss ahead of the application of paint protection. Ultra-fine abrasives eliminate wash marring and fine swirl marks, while kaolin clay particles and heavy glazing oils combine to mask deeper imperfections and impart a rich wet look to the paint, particularly on darker coloured cars.

How To Use

Meguiar's Ultimate Polish can be applied equally well by hand or dual action machine. By hand, it should be applied to freshly decontaminated paint using a SCHOLL Concepts Polishing Puck. Only 1-2 pea-sized drops of product are required to polish a 12 x 12 area, and these should be worked in as firmly and evenly as possible until only an oily film remains. This film should then be buffed off using a PB Super Buffing Towel. For best results using a dual action polisher, Meguiar's Ultimate Polish should be applied to freshly decontaminated paint using a SCHOLL Concepts Premium Finishing Pad. Only 3-4 pea-sized drops of product are required per 18 x 18 area, and these should be worked in thoroughly at 4000-5000 orbits per minute (speed 4-5 on most dual action machine polishers) until only a thin film remains. This film should then be buffed off carefully using a PB Super Buffing Towel.
