We Say
CQuartz DLUX is one of CarPro’s most quietly impressive products. It’s designed specifically for surfaces that most coatings struggle with — exterior plastics, rubber and wheels — where heat, contamination and UV exposure quickly break down dressings and lighter sealants.
Rather than sitting on the surface, DLUX forms a proper ceramic layer that bonds to plastics and metals, restoring colour and adding genuine long-term protection. On trim, it darkens and enriches faded plastics without leaving them greasy. On wheels, it helps resist brake dust adhesion and makes regular cleaning noticeably easier.
The versatility is what sets DLUX apart. It can be used on textured plastics, smooth trim, painted wheels and even bare metal components, all while maintaining a consistent, satin OEM-style finish. It’s also stable under high temperatures, which is essential for wheel use.
For us, DLUX is one of those products that proves ceramic coatings aren’t just for paint. It solves multiple problems in one go and does it properly, which is why it’s remained a firm part of our trim and wheel protection lineup.
Key Features
Description
CarPro CQuartz DLUX is a ceramic coating formulated specifically for use on exterior plastics, trim, rubber and wheels. It bonds to difficult substrates that traditional coatings and dressings struggle to adhere to, providing durable protection and an enhanced OEM-style finish.
Once cured, DLUX resists UV fading, chemical exposure and contamination buildup. On wheels, it helps reduce brake dust adhesion and simplifies maintenance. On plastics and trim, it restores depth of colour while curing dry to the touch.
Ideal for:

How To Use
1) Clean thoroughly: Remove all dirt, old dressings and contamination from the surface. On wheels, deep clean and decontaminate first.
2) Degrease: Ensure the surface is free from oils or residues so the coating can bond correctly.
3) Apply sparingly: Apply a small amount to an applicator and spread evenly over the surface.
4) Level: After a short flash time, level any excess using a clean microfibre towel to avoid high spots.
5) Cure: Avoid water exposure during the initial curing period. Full performance develops as the coating cures.
6) Maintain:Use gentle, pH-neutral cleaners to maximise durability.
