There's a lot to be said for a good pressure sprayer. Anyone who regularly cleans wheels, engine bays or particularly dirty areas of a vehicle will appreciate the convenience of applying cleaning chemicals without constantly squeezing a trigger bottle. Once you've used a decent pump-action sprayer, it's difficult to go back.

The Koch-Chemie Pressure Sprayer Alkaline 1.5L takes that convenience a little further. It's a robust, manually pressurised sprayer developed specifically for use with suitable neutral and alkaline cleaning products, making it a useful accessory for everything from general pre-cleaning to more intensive degreasing jobs.

What really sets it apart, however, is the flexible suction hose inside the bottle. Unlike conventional sprayers that can struggle when tilted beyond a certain angle, Koch-Chemie has designed this model to operate through a full 360 degrees. The Acid Pressure Sprayer uses a different seal material for compatible acidic cleaners, while the Pressure Foam Sprayer is designed to produce foam rather than a conventional liquid spray.

The 1.5L capacity offers a useful balance between convenience and portability. It's large enough for a reasonable quantity of diluted cleaning solution without becoming unnecessarily cumbersome. As with any pressure sprayer, though, the manufacturer's maximum filling mark determines how much liquid can actually be added while leaving sufficient space for pressurisation.

After use, Koch-Chemie recommends releasing the pressure and rinsing the sprayer with warm water. It's a simple but important maintenance step, particularly when working with concentrated cleaning chemicals that could otherwise remain inside the pump or nozzle.
