Unlike a traditional soft sponge, these work through their mildly abrasive structure. That makes them surprisingly effective at lifting marks such as rubber deposits, ballpoint pen stains and certain greasy residues, often without the need for an additional cleaning product.
However, that abrasive action also means they need to be used with care. These aren't the sponges we'd reach for when washing paintwork, cleaning delicate piano-black trim or maintaining leather. How To Use
