We Say
Dynax-UB is the “underbody armour” in the Bilt Hamber corrosion protection line: a tough, wax-based coating built for the exposed underside where road salt, spray and abrasion do the most damage.
Unlike old-school bitumen underseals that can peel and trap moisture, Dynax-UB is engineered to stay flexible and stay protective. It forms a firm wax film strengthened with elastic polymers, helping it resist road blast and stone impact while still coping with movement and temperature change.
If you want durable underbody protection that doesn’t rely on a brittle, moisture-trapping skin, Dynax-UB is a standout choice.
Key Features
Flexibility 8/10 (Elastic film)
Gloss Level 0/10 (Matte finish)
Underbody Protection Yes (Abrasion Resistant)
Description
Bilt Hamber Dynax-UB is a high-performance underbody anti-corrosion wax formulated to protect steel undersides for prolonged periods. Its elastic polymer technology creates a tougher wax coating than conventional waxes, improving resistance to abrasion and helping prevent the peeling issues associated with traditional bitumen underseals.
Dynax-UB cures to a touch-dry, brown wax-like film and can be used on both corrosion-free steel and appropriately prepared, lightly pre-corroded surfaces. For best results, thorough cleaning and degreasing is essential prior to application; for heavy grime and salt deposits, a dedicated degreaser such as Bilt Hamber surfex-HD can make preparation significantly easier.
Dynax-UB sits within the wider Bilt Hamber range as the dedicated underbody solution for external chassis, floorpans and wheel arch areas.

How To Use
1) Clean & dry: Apply to a dry surface free from loose, flaky rust and loose coatings. Degrease thoroughly if the underside is oily or traffic-film heavy.
2) Apply evenly: Brush, roll or spray a light, even coat across floorpans, arches and exposed chassis areas.
3) Build protection: Apply at least 2 coats, leaving around 24 hours between coats.
4) Film target: Aim for a uniform dry film thickness of around 80–100 microns as a practical guide.
5) Inspect & top-up: High-wear zones (front of arches and leading edges) can be inspected during servicing and topped up if required.
