We Say
Bilt Hamber Dynax S50 is one of the most effective cavity waxes available for long-term corrosion protection. It’s designed specifically for enclosed sections where conventional underbody coatings simply can’t reach — sills, chassis rails, box sections, doors and internal seams.
What sets Dynax S50 apart is its ability to creep aggressively into seams and overlaps, displacing moisture and oxygen while leaving behind a flexible, self-healing wax film. Unlike brittle waxes that crack over time, S50 remains active, continuing to migrate and protect long after application.
If you’re serious about preserving vehicles — whether modern daily drivers, classics or restored cars — Dynax S50 is a benchmark product and a cornerstone of any proper corrosion prevention programme.
Key Features
Description
Bilt Hamber Dynax S50 is a professional-grade cavity wax formulated to protect enclosed automotive sections against corrosion. It is engineered to creep into seams, spot welds and overlaps, forming a continuous protective barrier that actively resists moisture ingress and oxidation.
The formulation remains soft and mobile after application, allowing it to continue migrating over time. This ensures long-term protection even as panels flex, temperatures change and minor damage occurs internally. The result is a coating that doesn’t just protect on day one, but continues working for years.
Dynax S50 is supplied ready to use in aerosol form with a directional cavity lance, making it suitable for DIY application as well as professional use. Once cured, it leaves a translucent wax film that does not harden or crack, maintaining protection throughout the vehicle’s service life.

How To Use
1) Prepare the vehicle: Ensure cavities are dry and free from loose dirt or debris. Existing light surface corrosion does not need to be removed, but flaking rust should be addressed beforehand.
2) Warm for best performance: For maximum creep and coverage, apply Dynax S50 at room temperature or warm the can slightly before use.
3) Apply via cavity lance: Insert the supplied lance into access holes and spray while slowly withdrawing, ensuring even coverage throughout the cavity.
4) Allow to settle: After application, leave the vehicle for several hours to allow the wax to migrate and settle. Any minor overspray can be wiped away easily.
5) Reinspect periodically: While Dynax S50 offers long-term protection, periodic inspection during servicing is recommended for maximum peace of mind.
