Leather grain, textured plastics and upholstery fibres can all trap contamination that simply wiping with a microfibre towel won't remove. Sometimes you need a little mechanical agitation to get the cleaner working properly.

The Koch-Chemie Allrounder Scrubber has been designed with exactly this in mind. Rather than relying on conventional bristles, it features a distinctive brush-like cleaning surface that provides gentle but effective agitation, helping to loosen stubborn dirt from the surface so it can be removed more easily.

What we particularly like about this style of cleaning pad is the contact it makes with the material. On relatively flat surfaces, a traditional brush can sometimes require repeated passes to work contamination out of the grain. The Allrounder Scrubber offers a broad cleaning area, allowing you to work evenly across seats, door panels and other interior surfaces without constantly repositioning a small brush.

Its versatility is another advantage. Koch-Chemie designed it for use on a wide range of interior materials, including leather, textiles and plastics. Paired with a suitable interior cleaner, it provides the mechanical cleaning action needed to tackle ingrained dirt without necessarily resorting to more aggressive chemicals.

There are a few important limitations. Although it is suitable for many interior surfaces, we wouldn't recommend using it on delicate glossy plastics, piano black trim, infotainment displays or any other surface that is particularly susceptible to scratching. As with any agitation tool, it's worth testing an inconspicuous area first and letting the cleaning product do as much of the work as possible.

For us, the Allrounder Scrubber is one of those simple accessories that can make a noticeable difference to interior cleaning. It bridges the gap between a microfibre cloth and a conventional detailing brush, providing controlled agitation where ordinary wiping isn't enough. Paired with the right cleaner, it's an excellent tool for restoring heavily used interiors without unnecessarily aggressive cleaning.

Key Features

Cleaning Action
Scrubbing
(Ingrained dirt)

Versatility
9/10
(Multi-surface)

Application
Interior
(Leather & trim)

Description

The Koch-Chemie Allrounder Scrubber is a premium interior cleaning pad designed to remove stubborn, ingrained dirt from a wide variety of automotive interior surfaces.

Featuring a specialised brush-like cleaning surface, the scrubber provides effective mechanical agitation to help loosen dirt and grime from textured plastics, leather and fabric upholstery.
