We Say
Platinum Paint is Carbon Collective’s flagship paint coating, designed for people who want genuine long-term protection without stepping into overly complex professional-only systems. It sits firmly in the “serious enthusiast” category — a true ceramic coating that delivers durability, gloss and easier maintenance when applied properly.
The coating forms a hard, chemically resistant layer over the paint, reducing contamination adhesion and helping maintain a cleaner surface for longer. Water behaviour improves noticeably, washing becomes easier, and the paint retains a sharper, glossier appearance compared to waxes or short-term sealants.
What we like about Platinum Paint is how balanced it feels. It offers strong durability and resistance without being overly grabby or unforgiving during application. With sensible prep and a careful approach, it’s very achievable for experienced enthusiasts while still delivering results you’d expect from a premium ceramic.
In our opinion, Platinum Paint earns its place as the core of the Carbon Collective Platinum system because it delivers real ceramic performance without unnecessary complication. If you’re ready to move beyond waxes and sealants and want something you can live with long-term, this is a very solid place to start.

Description
Carbon Collective Platinum Paint is a ceramic coating engineered to protect automotive paintwork from environmental contamination while enhancing gloss and surface clarity. Once cured, it creates a durable, hydrophobic layer that helps resist dirt, traffic film and chemical exposure.
The coating reduces contamination bonding, meaning regular maintenance washes are quicker and safer. Water beads and sheets away more effectively, helping keep the surface cleaner between washes.
Ideal for:
✔ Long-term paint protection
✔ Enhanced gloss and clarity
✔ Easier washing and maintenance
✔ Enthusiast-applied ceramic protection
Part of the Carbon Collective Platinum protection system:
✔ Platinum Paint for long-term ceramic protection on paintwork
✔ Platinum Glass for improved visibility and hydrophobic performance on glass

How To Use
1) Prepare thoroughly: Wash, decontaminate and, if required, polish the paintwork to remove defects and residues. Proper preparation is critical for coating performance.
2) Panel wipe: Ensure the surface is free from oils or fillers before application.
3) Apply the coating: Using a suitable applicator, apply a thin, even layer to one panel at a time.
4) Level carefully: Allow the coating to flash, then level any excess using a clean microfibre towel.
5) Cure: Avoid water exposure during the initial curing period. Full performance develops as the coating cures.
6) Maintain: Wash using pH-neutral products to maximise durability and appearance.
