We Say

If you're looking for a supremely durable carnauba-based wax for your pride and joy, Collinite Super Doublecoat Wax (476S) is for you. Its proprietary blend of Brazilian carnauba wax and synthetic polymers has stood the test of time for more than half a century, and delivers a crisp, glossy looking finish that looks great on all paint types and colours. A minimum lifespan of six months per application is normal in the UK (we've seen it last for more than nine months on our own cars), and this can be extended if you layer it from the outset.

Key Features

Durability 6 Months + (Average Value)
Slickness 8/10 (Compared To Others)

Collinite Super Doublecoat Wax (476S) is the most durable paste wax in the Collinite range, and comprises a classic blend of Brazilian carnauba wax and synthetic polymers originally formulated by the founder of the company, the late Charles H. Collins. It is absolutely detergent proof, which means it is virtually guaranteed to outlast any other car wax under all conceivable conditions. For this reason, it is also known as Collinite's permanent auto wax, with many users reporting durability of up to a year or more from a single application.

How To Use

Collinite Super Doublecoat Wax (476S) should only be applied by hand. For best results, it should be applied to freshly cleansed paint one panel at a time and as thinly and evenly as possible using a Meguiar's Soft Foam Applicator Pad. The resulting film should then be buffed off within a few minutes of application using a PB Deluxe Buffing Towel; there is no need to allow it to dry fully before it is removed (if you do, you will find it more difficult to remove).
