Wolf's Chemicals Nano Glass Sealant (Glass Guard)

Wolf’s Chemicals Nano Glass Sealant uses nanotechnology to lay down an invisible coating that repels rainfall. This coating is water hating (super hydrophobic), which causes water to bead up and roll off very quickly at speeds above 35 mph. This results in improved wet-weather visibility, particularly at high speeds. Indeed, studies have shown that similar treatments allow drivers to recognise objects in the road up to a second sooner in wet conditions. At 60 mph, this one second advantage can reduce stopping distances by up to 30 m, making wet-weather driving much safer as a result.

In a single step it cuts away embedded grime and lays down a nano-scale coating that repels rainfall. This coating is water hating (super hydrophobic), which causes water to bead up and roll off very quickly. This beading eliminates the need to use windscreen wipers at speeds above 35 mph, and makes de-icing in winter much easier. The coating is also highly resistant to pressure washing and detergents, meaning its likely lifespan on cars used on a daily basis is four months plus.

You should apply Wolf’s Chemicals Nano Glass Sealant in a warm, dry place out of direct sunlight. In all cases, prepare the windows you are going to treat in the normal way, i.e. by washing, cleaning and drying them. Next, lightly wet either a cotton make up pad or a Meguiar’s Microfibre Applicator Pad with the sealant and begin rubbing it in evenly, using firm pressure and overlapping strokes. Once a distinct haze has formed, leave the sealant to cure for 15 minutes before buffing it off gently using a damp PB Super Buffing Towel. In order to get the best performance and quoted durability from the resulting finish, allow it to cure for a further 12 hours before getting wet.
