Wolf's Chemicals Fine Cut Polish (WP-2N)
Wolf's Chemicals Fine Cut Polish is fast becoming one of the most regularly used polishes in our studio. Why? Because its cut and gloss characteristics make it ideal for removing wash marring and faint swirl marks on all paint types. Whats more, its filler-free formula also makes it a great choice of finishing polish for refining out machine holograms after heavy compounding. Add into the equation the fact that its really easy to use and produces very little dust, and you now know why we have a winner on our hands.
Wolf's Chemicals Fine Cut Polish is an ultra-fine abrasive polish designed to remove minor paint defects such as wash marring and faint swirl marks. It also nips out machine holograms with ease, making it a good choice of finishing polish for use after compounding. It works by using precision-milled aluminium oxide particles to burnish painted surfaces to perfection. Long lasting lubricants maximise its working time, while its filler-free formula ensures that defect removal is permanent rather than temporary.
You can use Wolf's Chemicals Fine Cut Polish by hand or machine, although for best results we recommend the latter. By hand, apply Wolf's Chemicals Fine Cut Polish with a Lake Country Light Cut Hand Pad. Only 1-2 pea-sized drops of product are required per 12” x 12” area. You should work it as firmly and evenly as possible until only an oily film remains. Buff off the film carefully using a PB Super Buffing Towel.
For best results using a dual action polisher, apply Wolf's Chemicals Fine Cut Polish with a Lake Country 140 mm Hydro-Tech Finishing Pad. Only 3-4 pea-sized drops of product are required per 18” x 18” area. After spreading, work it thoroughly at 4000-5000 orbits per minute (speed 4-5 on most dual action machine polishers) until only an oily film remains. Buff off the film carefully using a PB Super Buffing Towel.
For best results using a rotary polisher, apply Wolf's Chemicals Fine Cut Polish with a Lake Country 140 mm Rotary H-T Finishing Pad. Only 1-2 pea-sized drops of product are required per 18” x 18” area. You should work it thoroughly at 1500-2000 revolutions per minute (speed 3-4 on most rotary polishers) using the zenith method until only an oily film remains. Buff off the film carefully using a PB Super Buffing Towel.
