Werkstat Satin Prot

Werkstat Satin Prot is our all time favourite interior dressing, as it is a true multi-surface protectant that delivers a factory finish on all treated surfaces. As a light cleaner and protectant for plastic, vinyl and rubber surfaces it is nothing out of the ordinary in terms of its composition, i.e. it is a thin liquid that you wipe on evenly and leave to dry naturally. In this role, it leaves a beautiful original looking finish with no additional shine, particularly on modern soft touch dashboards and trims. However, if you use Werkstat Satin Prot as a light cleaner and protectant for leather surfaces too, then you may feel that something is initially amiss. If this is the case, try to stick with it; if you do, you will actually find that it delivers fantastic results. This is because most modern leather surfaces are coated with a very thin, fully transparent, vinyl clearcoat, which means that they are non-absorbent and unable to be fed or conditioned in the same way that traditional uncoated leather can be. Accordingly, water-based products like Werkstat Satin Prot actually deliver far better results, and we think that you will be very pleasantly surprised if you give it a try.

Werkstat Satin Prot is a unique formulation that renews all interior surfaces (with the exception of fabrics and napped leathers such as suede), ensuring that the interior of your car will be as well maintained and protected as the exterior. Werkstat Satin Prot gently cleans surfaces and lays down a layer of protection against UV damage while restoring the original natural appearance of the material. While many other interior dressings coat surfaces with an artificial shine, Werkstat Satin Prot uses a protective base that dries completely to the touch with an almost matt finish. While additional layers will build up the protective properties, at no point will the finish turn shiny, oily or gummy. In short, Werkstat Satin Prot reinvigorates interior surfaces, protects them against cracking and fading caused by UV damage and dries to a natural sheen. Your interior will once again look like it just rolled out of the factory.

For best results, spray Werkstat Satin Prot on to a Meguiar’s Microfibre Applicator Pad and then wipe down the surfaces to be protected lightly and evenly before allowing them to dry naturally. Do not be tempted to over-apply the product or buff the protected surfaces once dry; neither action is necessary, and both will result in a sub-standard finish.
