Werkstat Prime Acrylic blurs the line between polishes and sealants, since it has excellent cleaning and light polishing properties but also lays down an initial coat of sealant protection. The exclusive German-made formula represents over four decades of research and development in the field of paint protection chemistry and combines chemical cleaning agents with state of the art nano-scale polymer technology to offer a range of features other products struggle to match. For starters, the solvent-based chemical cleaning agents are capable of removing bonded surface contaminants such as tar spots, tree sap and old layers of wax or sealant protection, stripping away moderate to heavy oxidation, and rounding over the edges of minor defects. Then there is the nano-scale polymer technology - this enables Werkstat Prime Acrylic to bond to painted surfaces in the same way that carnauba wax does, forming a flexible and highly durable layer of protection that lasts for up to six months when topped with several coats of Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger.

By using ultra-fine, polyethylene-acrylic particles, Werkstat Prime Acrylic achieves unparalleled surface density, thus improving resistance to environmental factors such as heat, acidity and ultraviolet radiation, and mechanical damage from surface contaminants that would otherwise mar or scratch the finish. A further benefit of this microscopically smooth and level coating is that it possesses superior optical characteristics in comparison to other one-step products. The resulting smoothness of the surface ensures that low-angle incident light is brilliantly reflected for mirror-like images, while the high refractive index of the coating allows high-angle light to refract into the dense polymer matrix for improved depth of colour. The light transmittance of the polymers laid down by Werkstat Prime Acrylic exceeds that of optical glass, ensuring that the beauty of your paint stands out with unobstructed clarity - the effect on metallic and pearlescent finishes is simply breathtaking as the flakes in the paint are made to literally explode out of the finish at you.
