This excellent value for money kit includes everything you need to achieve the Werkstat acrylic finish on your car, and works best on light to mid-tone metallic and pearlescent finishes, although in truth it delivers an awesome looking finish on most colours. Werkstat Prime Acrylic is a truly exceptional chemical paint cleaner that also lays down a fantastic looking basecoat of acrylic polymer protection; you should aim to use it once every six months after claying prime your paint ready for fresh layers of sealant protection. Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger is a fully sprayable pure spray sealant that should be used to add more gloss and protection every 6-8 weeks; the more layers you build up, the better the finish will get in terms of both wetness and durability. Werkstat Acrylic Glos is an ultra-slick quick detailing spray and can be used to boost gloss after washing and drying, and loosen the residues of Werkstat Prime Acrylic and Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger should you find them hard to remove in warm weather. The finish produced by this system is best described as being characterised by mirror-like reflectivity and, on metallic and pearlescent finishes, the most intense degree of flake pop imaginable; silvers and light greys in particular look simply amazing in the sun after being treated with the Werkstat Acrylic Kit.
Step 1 – Werkstat Prime Acrylic

Werkstat Prime Acrylic should be applied to freshly clayed paint using the supplied Meguiar’s Microfibre Applicator Pad. Only 3-4 pea-sized drops of product are required per panel, and these should be wiped in as firmly and evenly as possible to produce a film that should then be allowed to dry for up to 10 minutes. Once hazed over, this film should then be buffed off carefully using the supplied PB Super Buffing Towel (if the film proves difficult to remove at first, lightly mist it with Werkstat Acrylic Glos and continue buffing).

Step 2- Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger

Lightly mist Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger over a single panel at a time and immediately wipe the panel down to spread a thin, even film of product using one of the supplied Poorboy’s Deluxe Mega Towels. Then refold your towel and buff the panel down carefully to fully remove the film and reveal an intense streak-free shine. If you wish, you can apply multiple coats in quick succession, as long as you allow a 30 minute curing time between each coat.

Step 3 – Werkstat Acrylic Glos

Lightly mist Werkstat Acrylic Glos over a single panel at a time and immediately wipe the panel down to spread a thin, even film of product using one of the supplied Poorboy’s Deluxe Mega Towels. Then refold your towel and buff the panel down carefully to fully remove the film and reveal an intense streak-free shine.

Care instructions for applicators and towels

(i) wash after each use in a washing machine at a low temperature (40 °C) using a non-biological liquid detergent (avoid soap powders and detergents containing bleach or fabric softeners); (ii) allow to dry naturally on a line or tumble dry on a cool heat setting (avoid radiators and other sources of high heat), and; (iii) store in a dry, dust-free environment whilst not in use (lidded plastic storage boxes are ideal in this respect).
