Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger
Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger is one of our all time favourite paint preparation products, and is used frequently in our studio to add multiple coats of durable sealant protection to freshly prepared paint finishes. Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger quickly and easily extends the durability of the protective sealant basecoat laid down by Werkstat Prime Acrylic and can be layered many times, because the absence of solvents in the formula means that each fresh application will not strip or degrade coats already laid down. A further benefit of the resulting smooth and level coating laid down by Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger is the finish it gives, which is best described by mirror-like reflectivity, razor sharp clarity and, on metallic and pearlescent finishes, the most intense degree of flake pop imaginable. In terms of suitability, we favour using Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger most on light to mid-tone metallic and pearlescent finishes, although in truth it delivers an awesome looking finish on most colours. Also worth mentioning is the fact that the fully sprayable formula makes application a breeze, even in cold and damp weather conditions when traditional sealants and waxes become unusable, which makes it our number one choice for winter protection too. As an essential product in our line up, it comes highly recommended.
Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger extends the durability of the protective coat of polyethylene-acrylic nano-scale polymers laid down by Werkstat Prime Acrylic and builds an ever smoother, more uniformly reflective finish. Because it contains no cleaning agents whatsoever, Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger is well suited to being layered many times, as each fresh application will not strip or degrade the existing elastic sealing layer. As a result, Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger further improves resistance to environmental factors, such as heat, acid and ultraviolet radiation, and mechanical damage, such as wash-induced marring and scratching. In addition to its generous protective qualities, the resulting ultra-smooth coating ensures that low-angle incident light is brilliantly reflected to produce mirror-like images, while the high refractive index of the polymers allows high-angle light to refract into the finish and improve flake pop. In fact, the light transmittance of the coating laid down by Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger actually exceeds that of optical glass, thus ensuring that the beauty of your paint will stand out with unobstructed clarity. As the most durable product in the Werkstat line, Acrylic Jett Trigger is ideal for daily drivers and for winter use too.
For best results lightly mist Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger over a single panel at a time and immediately wipe the panel down to spread a thin, even film of product using a Poorboy’s Deluxe Mega Towel. Then refold your towel and buff the panel down carefully to fully remove the film and reveal an intense streak-free shine. If you wish you can apply multiple coats in quick succession, as long as you allow a 30 minute curing time between each one; when we work with Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger we typically apply 2-3 coats back to back, as the resulting finish is awesome in terms of looks and durability.
