You will be delighted by the sheer practicality and efficiency you will experience with this kit.
This kit comprises...
1 x Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Regular (100 ml)
1 x Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Pad
...and comes supplied in a small Swissvax bag.
Step 1 - Swissvax Wheel
Swissvax Wheel is a concentrated detergent, and should thus be diluted to an appropriate strength in a Swissvax Mixing Bottle before use. For normal cleaning, a dilution ratio of 3:1 (water:product) is often sufficient, but this can be reduced to 2:1 or even 1:1 for tackling really neglected wheel surfaces. In all cases, an appropriately diluted solution should be sprayed on directly and then agitated thoroughly using either a Swissvax Wheel Brush or a Swissvax Micro Wash Towel. This will produce a rich foaming lather, which will quickly discolour as brake dust and road grime is progressively released. Accordingly, it is sensible to rinse out your brush and/or towel regularly during this process, otherwise there is risk of marring or even scratching your rims. The lather should then be rinsed away thoroughly with an open ended hose and the wheels then fully dried before any rim protection or tyre dressing is applied.
Step 2 - Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Regular
Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Regular should only be applied by hand. For best results, it should be applied to freshly clayed paint one panel at a time using a Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Pad. Only 3-4 pea-sized drops of product are required per panel, and these should be worked in as thinly and evenly as possible using light downward pressure. The resulting film should be buffed off immediately using either a Swissvax Micro Absorb Towel or a Swissvax Micro Polish Towel.
Step 3 - Swisswax Autobahn
Swissvax Autobahn should only be applied by hand. For best results, it should be applied to freshly cleansed rims as thinly and evenly as possible using a Swissvax Wax Applicator. The resulting film should then be buffed off within 10 minutes of application using either a Swissvax Micro Absorb Towel or a Swissvax Micro Polish Towel; there is absolutely no need to allow the film to dry fully before it is removed (if you do, you will find that is more difficult to remove).
Care instructions for applicators and towels
(i) wash after each use in a washing machine at a low temperature (40 °C) using a non-biological liquid detergent (avoid soap powders and detergents containing bleach or fabric softeners); (ii) allow to dry naturally on a line or tumble dry on a cool heat setting (avoid radiators and other sources of high heat), and; (iii) store in a dry, dust-free environment whilst not in use (lidded plastic storage boxes are ideal in this respect).
