Swissvax Mystery

Swissvax has a traceable heritage stretching back to the 1930's, when the Zurich-based Anwander family started developing and producing wax formulations specifically for the care and protection of antique furniture. Around the same time, the founder of the company, Hans Anwander, was unable to find a sophisticated enough car wax on the open market to meet his needs, so he decided to make his own. The rest, as they say, is history, and three generations on, the fruits of his labour are still evident in the form of the world renowned range of Swissvax automotive waxes available today.

As its name suggests, Swissvax Mystery is based on a secret wax formula that was originally developed in the 1930's for the private use of company founder Hans Anwander. Nowadays, Swissvax Mystery comprises 55 % pure Brazilian No. 1 carnauba wax by volume and includes high concentrations of wax esters, wax alcohols and long chain fatty acids, all enriched with macadamia nut, kiwi and vanilla extracts. This truly exotic wax blend produces a sensational shine on older single stage paint finishes as well as all modern day paint systems, and as such is highly recommended for enthusiasts with diverse car collections.

Swissvax Mystery should only be applied by hand. For best results, it should be applied to freshly cleansed paint three to four panels at a time and as thinly and evenly as possible using a Swissvax Wax Applicator. The resulting film should then be buffed off within a few minutes of application using a Swissvax Micro Fluffy Towel; there is absolutely no need to allow the film to dry fully before it is removed.
