Swissvax Wheel is a concentrated product from Swissvax that offers an excellent level of cleaning performance, yet does not rely on strong chemicals to achieve this. This makes it ideal for regular use on sensitive rims, and in particular on high performance cars whose wheels are prone to accumulations of brake dust that Swissvax Car Bath struggles to shift. Furthermore, Swissvax Wheel really does deliver in terms of ease of use; its thin consistency allows it to be applied quickly and worked into even very complex wheel designs with ease, while it also rinses freely and easily to leave tyres and rims streak- and spot-free. In short, Swissvax Wheel is an excellent choice of product for safe and effective wheel cleaning duties in situations where brake dust and road grime are proving too tough for Swissvax Car Bath to fully remove.
Swissvax Wheel is an advanced detergent-based wheel cleaning concentrate enriched with peppermint oil that safely and effectively breaks the bond between brake dust and wheel surfaces. For normal cleaning, a dilution ratio of 3:1 (water:product) is often sufficient (in which case up to 1 L of wheel cleaner can be made up per 250 ml bottle purchased), but this can be reduced to 2:1 or even 1:1 for tackling really neglected wheel surfaces. Swissvax Wheel is best diluted to the correct strength for the task in hand using a Swissvax Mixing Bottle, which will also facilitate precise, effortless application to wheel surfaces via its atomising spray head. Highly effective yet ultra-safe, Swissvax Wheel is suitable for all wheel types, including billet aluminium, chrome plated, polished, anodised, painted and clearcoated rims.
Swissvax Wheel is a concentrated detergent, and should thus be diluted to an appropriate strength in a Swissvax Mixing Bottle before use. For normal cleaning, a dilution ratio of 3:1 (water:product) is often sufficient, but this can be reduced to 2:1 or even 1:1 for tackling really neglected wheels. In all cases, an appropriately diluted solution should be sprayed on directly and then agitated thoroughly using either a Swissvax Wheel Brush or a Swissvax Micro Wash Towel. This will produce a lather that will quickly discolour as brake dust and road grime is progressively released. Accordingly, it is always sensible to rinse out your brush and/or towel regularly during this process, otherwise there is risk of marring or even scratching your rims. The lather should then be rinsed off thoroughly with stream of water and the wheels then fully dried before any rim protection or tyre dressing is applied.
