Raceglaze Signature Series Pre-Wax Pro is designed to permanently remove moderately severe paint defects such as swirl marks and fine scratches from original and refinished paintwork to create a smooth, highly reflective surface in readiness for the addition of carnauba wax protection. Unlike many other light compounds, Raceglaze Signature Series Pre-Wax Pro breaks down completely during use to leave a sharp high gloss finish that requires no further refinement. Gloss is maximised by burnishing surfaces to a smooth, highly reflective finish using ultra-fine precision-milled diminishing abrasives suspended in a base of lubricating oils. Unlike many other polishes, Raceglaze Signature Series Pre-Wax Pro contains no fillers of any kind, meaning that defect removal is permanent rather than temporary.

Raceglaze Signature Series Pre-Wax Pro can be applied by hand or dual action machine, although for best results we strongly recommend the latter. By hand, it should be applied to freshly clayed or compounded paint using a Lake Country Light Cut Hand Pad. Only 1-2 pea-sized drops of product are required to polish a 12” x 12” area, and these should be worked in as firmly and evenly as possible until only a thin haze remains. This haze should then be buffed off carefully using a PB Super Buffing Towel. For best results using a dual action polisher, Raceglaze Signature Series Pre-Wax Pro should be applied to freshly clayed or compounded paint using a Lake Country 140 mm Hydro-Tech Polishing Pad. Only 3-4 pea-sized drops of product are required per 18” x 18” area, and these should be worked in thoroughly at around 4000-5000 orbits per minute (speed 4-5 on most dual action machine polishers) until only a thin film remains. This film should then be buffed off carefully using a PB Super Buffing Towel.
