Raceglaze Signature Series '4x4' Kit

Click image to see larger view

Raceglaze Signature Series '4x4' is a new wax from Raceglaze that blends pure Brazilian No.1 white carnauba wax with non-stick polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). This imparts a durable non-stick effect, meaning that fresh contaminants are barely able to adhere to treated surfaces. These benefits make it an ideal choice of protection for vehicles that are driven off road regularly and for those used in other harsh environments.

The foundation stone of the Signature Series '4x4' finish is an initial application of Raceglaze Signature Series Pre-Wax Cleaner, which masks minor paint defects (such as wash marring and fine swirl marks) and dramatically enhances surface gloss in order to create the illusion that the paint is dripping wet. We recommend using this amazing pre-wax-cleaner at least twice a year, as it provides a perfect base for multiple coats of premium carnauba wax protection.

Maintenance of the Signature Series '4x4' finish is easily performed using Raceglaze Clearmist Carnauba Detailing Spray. This quick detailing spray adds terrific depth and gloss by laying down a super slick layer of Brazilian No.1 carnauba wax and is ideal for use after washing and drying, and for removing fingerprints and other fresh blemishes at shows.
Step 1 – Raceglaze Signature Series Pre-Wax Cleaner

Raceglaze Signature Series Pre-Wax Cleaner should be applied to freshly clayed paint using the supplied Meguiar’s Microfibre Applicator Pad. Only 3-4 pea-sized drops of product are required per panel and these should be wiped in as thinly and evenly as possible to produce a film that should then be allowed to dry for up to 15 minutes. Once hazed over, this film should then be buffed off carefully using the supplied PB Super Buffing Towel.

Step 2 – Raceglaze Signature Series ‘4x4’

Raceglaze Signature Series ‘4x4’ should be applied to three to four panels at a time and as thinly and evenly as possible using the supplied Meguiar’s Foam Applicator Pad. The resulting film should then be buffed off within 5-10 minutes of application using one of the supplied Poorboy’s Deluxe Mega Towels; there is absolutely no need to allow the film to dry fully before it is removed (if you do, you will find that is more difficult to remove).

Step 3 – Raceglaze Clearmist Carnauba Detailing Spray

Lightly mist Raceglaze Clearmist Carnauba Detailing Spray over a single panel at a time and immediately wipe the panel down to spread a thin, even film of product using one of the supplied Poorboy’s Deluxe Mega Towels. Then refold your towel and buff the panel down carefully to fully remove the film and reveal an intense streak-free shine.

Care instructions for applicators and towels

(i) wash after each use in a washing machine at a low temperature (40 °C) using a non-biological liquid detergent (avoid soap powders and detergents containing bleach or fabric softeners); (ii) allow to dry naturally on a line or tumble dry on a cool heat setting (avoid radiators and other sources of high heat), and; (iii) store in a dry, dust-free environment whilst not in use (lidded plastic storage boxes are ideal in this respect).
