Raceglaze Leather Care Kit
The contents of the Raceglaze Leather Care Kit will provide you with everything you need to clean and protect leather seats and trims, whether old or new. The first time we ever used the contents of this kit was on a very rare 1965 Maserati Mistral Spyder, when we were faced with what looked liked over 40 years worth of grime on the delicate aniline leather surfaces. Despite the sensitivity of aniline leather, we were able to bring about a complete transformation of the affected surfaces with relative ease, and both products have had a key place in our leather car care line up ever since. In short, both products in this kit are a joy to use and leave both modern and aged leathers looking, feeling and smelling like new. Highly recommended!
This kit comprises...
1 x Raceglaze Leather Cleaner (250 ml)
1 x Raceglaze Leather Balm (250 ml)
1 x Raceglaze Leather Cleaning Brush
2 x Meguiar's Microfibre Applicator Pads
...and offers a saving of 10% over buying the included products separately.
Step 1 – Raceglaze Leather Cleaner
Raceglaze Leather Cleaner should be applied using either one of the supplied Meguiar’s Microfibre Applicator Pads (dampened with water first) or the Raceglaze Leather Cleaning Brush, and worked into the leather surface thoroughly. This will produce a slightly foamy lather, which may discolour as any soiling is progressively released. The lather should then be wiped away and the leather left to dry fully before any protection is added.
Step 2 – Raceglaze Leather Balm
For best results, squeeze a small amount of Raceglaze Leather Balm onto one of the supplied Meguiar’s Microfibre Applicator Pads (this time used dry) and then wipe down the surfaces to be dressed lightly and evenly before allowing them to dry naturally. Do not be tempted to over-apply the product or buff the protected surfaces once dry; neither action is necessary, and both will result in a sub-standard finish.
