Poorboy's Spray & Rinse

Poorboy's Spray & Rinse is an acid-based wheel cleaner that is designed to enable the quick and easy removal of road grime, brake dust and tar spots from neglected wheels. Whilst we do not generally encourage the use of aggressive wheel cleaning products, we recognise that on some occasions you may be faced with stubborn brake dust deposits that are particularly difficult to remove. In such cases, the use of an aggressive product like Poorboy's Spray & Rinse will enable you to rectify the problem quickly and efficiently in readiness for the addition of sealant protection, which will then help to prevent the problem from reoccurring in the future.

Poorboy's Spray & Rinse is a professional strength acid-based wheel cleaner that is designed to enable the quick and easy removal of road grime, brake dust and tar spots from neglected wheels. Although Poorboy's Spray & Rinse can be safely used on plastic hubcaps and all painted and clearcoated surfaces, it should not be used on highly polished or anodised rims, or in situations where corrosion or kerbing damage is apparent. We recommend that this product should be spot tested before use if any doubt arises about its suitability for the task in hand, and that regular use should be avoided due to its chemically-aggressive nature.

For best results, Poorboy’s Spray & Rinse should be sprayed on directly and then agitated lightly using suitable brushes and/or a microfibre wash mitt (ideal choices include EZ Detail Wheel Brushes, PB Wheel Woolies and the Meguiar’s Microfibre Wash Mitt). This will produce a rich foaming lather, which will quickly discolour as brake dust and road grime is progressively released. Accordingly, it is sensible to rinse out your brushes and/or wash mitt regularly during this process, otherwise there is risk of marring or even scratching your rims. The lather should then be rinsed away thoroughly with an open ended hose and the wheels then fully dried before any rim protection or tyre dressing is applied.
