Poorboy's EX-P Sealant

Poorboy's EX-P Sealant is one of the best value for money synthetic paint sealants on the market today, and delivers an excellent finish characterised by pin-sharp reflectivity and gloss. Like most pure synthetic paint sealants, it falls down a little bit in terms of richness and beading strength, but more than makes up for this in terms of slickness and flake pop. Easy to apply by hand or dual action machine, we recommend using Poorboy's EX-P Sealant to bring out the brilliance and clarity of mid-tone metallic and pearlescent finishes.

Poorboy's EX-P Sealant is an amino-functional, resin-based sealant that really brings out the brilliance and clarity of metallic and pearlescent paint finishes. It can be layered to build up additional gloss and protection, and can be topped with further coats of wax protection to give an even deeper shine if desired. Following easy application, Poorboy's EX-P Sealant effectively adds a layer of armour to painted surfaces that stubbornly resists the British elements for two to three months at a time.

Poorboy’s EX-P Sealant can be applied equally well by hand or dual action machine. For best results by hand, it should be applied to freshly polished paint using a damp Meguiar’s Microfibre Applicator Pad. Only 2-3 pea-sized drops of product are required per panel, and these should be applied as thinly and evenly as possible to produce a film that should then be allowed to cure for up to 30 minutes. Once hazed over, this film should then be buffed off carefully using a Poorboy’s Deluxe Mega Towel.

For best results using a dual action polisher, Poorboy’s EX-P Sealant should be applied to freshly polished paint using a Lake Country 140 mm Ultimate Last Step Pad. Only 1-2 pea-sized drops of product are required per panel, and these should be worked in thoroughly at around 3000-4000 orbits per minute (speed 3-4 on most dual action machine polishers) until only a thin film remains. After being allowed to haze over for up to 30 minutes, this film should then be buffed off carefully using a Poorboy’s Deluxe Mega Towel.
