PB Convertible Fabric Top Kit

This kit contains 303 Convertible Top Cleaner, 303 High Tech Fabric Guard and a pair of accessory brushes; basically everything you need to keep your fabric convertible top looking like new! 303 Convertible Top Cleaner utilises very clever colloidal technology to safely lift dirt, grime, oils and stains from fabric convertible tops and, unlike many intensive cleaners, it does not contain soap, detergents, toxic organics, phosphates, nitrates or caustics, which makes it non-hazardous, non-flammable, non-toxic, non-explosive, non-fuming, non-caustic and 99% biodegradable. Put simply, it is the safest convertible top cleaner on the market today. 303 High Tech Fabric Guard is a technologically advanced fabric protectant that is powerful enough to protect fabrics under extreme outdoor weather conditions, yet is gentle enough for safe use on delicate convertible top materials too. 303 High Tech Fabric Guard imparts terrific long-lasting water repellency, resists everyday soiling and staining, impedes mildew formation and helps to protect against harmful UV rays from the sun. Treated fabric tops therefore stay cleaner and fresher looking for longer, reducing the need for future maintenance.

Step 1 – 303 Convertible Top Cleaner

303 Convertible Top Cleaner comes pre-diluted to the correct strength for safe use on all fabric and vinyl convertible tops, and should thus be used neat. For best results, we recommend that it is sprayed on liberally and then agitated lightly using the supplied brushes (use the larger Meguiar’s All Surface Interior Brush for main areas, and the smaller Meguiar’s Triple Duty Detailing Brush for tackling stitching and creases). This will produce a slightly foamy lather, which may discolour as any soiling is progressively released. The lather should then be rinsed away with an open ended hose and the convertible top then left to dry fully before any protection is added.

Step 2 - 303 High Tech Fabric Guard

For best results, fabric convertible top surfaces to be treated with 303 High Tech Fabric Guard must be spotlessly clean and completely dry before use. The product should be sprayed on lightly and evenly, and then left for several hours to fully dry. Once dry, we recommend lightly misting the newly protected surfaces with water, as this will enable you to spot any areas where insufficient protection has been added (the telltale sign is a lack of prominent water beading). If such areas are apparent, a further application should be made to ensure that maximum protection is achieved. Any overspray onto adjacent surfaces should be wiped away immediately. Freshly protected surfaces must be allowed to dry fully before being exposed to the elements.
