Murphy's Law dictates that (i) no sooner will you have purchased a shiny new PA Foam Lance when your pressure washer will decide to pack up; and (ii) a deal too good to miss will be on offer on another make of pressure washer, making the original fitting on your shiny new PA Foam Lance redundant. C'est la vie, but not to worry, as now you can buy replacement fittings separately! In addition, accidents can happen, and if you are unlucky enough to drop your lance and break the bottle you can now buy a replacement bottle at minimal cost.
PA Foam Lance Parts & Accessories are built to last. With the exception of the Black & Decker / Bosch AQT and Karcher K-Series bayonet options, all of the fittings are made from either solid brass or stainless steel, and connect to the injector head either directly or via a stainless steel extension pipe. The Black & Decker / Bosch AQT and Karcher K-Series fittings are made of impact resistant nylon, while the replacement bottle is made of translucent high-density polyethylene. The replacement filter is made of compressed layers of stainless steel wire mesh.
Replace existing fittings as follows. Using smooth faced spanners or grips, hold the injector head still, loosen the fitting connection and then remove the old fitting carefully. Then gently remove any traces of old PTFE tape from the female thread in the injector head, taking care not to damage the thread in any way. Next, wind half a dozen loops of PTFE tape tightly around the male thread on the replacement fitting. Then carefully begin to screw this into the female thread in the injector head by hand and, when you are fully sure the threads have mated properly, do up the connection tightly using smooth faced spanners or grips. For instructions on replacing the internal wire mesh filter in the injector head please watch the video in the ‘Play Video’ tab.
