Microfiber Madness spent over a year developing their Incredipole before launching it, and this shows in the quality of the final product. Rather than buying in a lower quality, mass-produced pole and plate from the Far East, Microfiber Madness have instead chosen to source them from a specialist company in Germany. Although this means the initial purchase price is higher, better long-term durability is guaranteed. This makes good sense, as the pole and plate is something you should only have to buy once. As with the popular Incredibrush, the unique proprietary microfibre cover is removable (for routine washing) and replaceable (for when it eventually wears out). This material has proven itself to be equally as safe as traditional lambswool on delicate bodywork, making it an ideal choice for sensitive finishes. The detailing community has been crying out for a good quality telescopic tool for washing larger vehicles safely for many years, and the Microfiber Madness Incredipole ticks this box perfectly.
The Microfiber Madness Incredipole is hand-crafted in Germany and is ideal for cleaning larger vehicles whose uppermost panels are difficult to reach fully, even with steps. Each Microfiber Madness Incredipole features a highly durable telescopic pole made of aluminium, which extends to a maximum length of 1.5 m with the plate and cover attached. When stood on steps, this makes reaching the middle of the roof on even the tallest of 4x4 vehicles easy and safe. The plastic plate affixes to the pole using a plastic alignment clip and a durable plastic screw-on collar, and features a soft layer of open-cell foam mounted via a hook and loop fastening material. The plate is shrouded with a removable (and replaceable) cover comprising the same two-component microfibre material that features in the Incredi range of wash tools. In addition to being soft and gentle, and therefore kind to painted surfaces, this material is also chemically resistant, easy to clean and highly durable.
Care instructions: (i) rinse the cover frequently during use, in order to keep the microfibre pile free of grit and other debris; (ii) avoid running the plate beneath roof rails and roof bars during use, in order to stop the uncovered upper surface of the plate accidentally marring such surfaces; (iii) remove the cover after each use and wash it in a washing machine at a low temperature (40°C) using a non-biological liquid detergent (avoid soap powders and detergents containing bleach or fabric softeners), and allow it to dry naturally on a line or tumble dry on a cool heat setting (avoid radiators and other sources of high heat) before refitting it, and; (iv) wipe the pole and plate dry with a drying towel after use and store it in a dry, dust-free environment while not in use (if this isn't possible, store the cover separately and refit it immediately before use).
