Meguiars Wheel Brightener is the product of choice for professionals looking for a powerful wheel cleaner that quickly and effectively removes tough brake dust deposits. There is always a thin line between effective cleaning power and the risk of causing damage to delicate wheel coatings when tackling stubborn accumulations of brake dust, but this product gives the user options with regard to choosing a safe solution strength. For normal cleaning, a dilution ratio of 4:1 (water:product) is often sufficient, but this can be reduced to 2:1 or even 1:1 for tackling really stubborn brake dust deposits. Although this product can be safely used on all painted and clearcoated rims it should not be used where corrosion or kerbing damage is apparent. We recommend that this product should be spot tested before use at higher solution strengths, and that regular use should be avoided due to its aggressive nature.
