Meguiar's Ultimate Polish

Meguiar's Ultimate Polish is a pre-wax glaze that masks minor paint defects, such as wash marring and minor swirl marks, and dramatically enhances surface gloss in order to create the illusion that paint is dripping wet ahead of an application of sealant or wax protection.

Meguiar's Ultimate Polish is a non-abrasive polish designed to maximise surface gloss and reflectivity ahead of the application of paint protection. Kaolin clay and rich glazing oils combine to mask minor imperfections and give a deep, wet look to paint, particularly on darker coloured cars.

You can use Meguiar's Ultimate Polish by hand or dual action machine, although for best results we recommend the latter. By hand, apply Meguiar's Ultimate Polish with a Meguiar's Microfibre Applicator Pad. Only 3-4 pea-sized drops of product are required per 18” x 18” area. You should work it gently and evenly until only a thin oily film remains. Buff off the film carefully using a PB Super Buffing Towel.

For best results using a dual action polisher, apply Meguiar's Ultimate Polish with a Lake Country 140 mm Constant Pressure Glazing Pad. Only 3-4 pea-sized drops of product are required per 18” x 18” area. After spreading, work it thoroughly at 3000-4000 orbits per minute (speed 3-4 on most dual action machine polishers) until only a thin oily film remains. Buff off the film carefully using a PB Super Buffing Towel.
