Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax

We’ve been fans of Meguiar’s products for many years, and we’re delighted with what their new Ultimate range offers in terms of value for money and performance. However, one small niggle remains, concerning their naming conventions. Take their Ultimate Paste Wax for example. It’s a really good last step product that delivers excellent results in terms of ease of use and finish quality. However, it’s not a wax. Meguiar’s call it a wax because from a marketing standpoint they believe that you won’t buy it unless you see the word wax in the title. But it’s not a wax. It’s actually a state of the art synthetic paint sealant that uses cutting edge polymer technology to deliver a highly satisfying user experience. We hope you’ll try it for this reason, and this reason alone.

Meguiar’s Ultimate Paste Wax is the most advanced paste wax product in the current Meguiar’s range. It uses cutting edge hydrophobic polymer technology to lay down a water hating protective barrier that amplifies reflections to give incredible depth and a mirror-like shine. The formula also incorporates thin film technology, which ensures that Meguiar’s Ultimate Paste Wax remains easy to apply and buff off, even if you are forced to work outside in hot, sunny conditions. However, unlike its liquid counterpart, Meguiar’s Ultimate Paste Wax is not trim friendly; unfortunately, the ingredients required to transform the liquid version into a spreadable paste will stain any plastic or rubber surfaces they come into contact with.

Meguiar’s Ultimate Paste Wax should be applied using the supplied foam applicator pad. Only 2-3 dabs of product are required per panel, and these should be applied as thinly and evenly as possible to produce a film that should then be buffed off carefully using the supplied microfibre buffing towel.
