There are many excellent ranges of cutting compounds and polishes available on the market these days, so for any new range of polishing products to captivate us they really do have to offer a stand out level of performance. The new line up of Q²M Compound, Q²M Polish and Q² Primer from Gyeon does exactly that. Rather than go down the white-labelling route, Gyeon have instead invested time and effort in developing and manufacturing their own formulas. This approach, while costly, has enabled them to produce a range of polishing products that break new ground. Gyeon Q²M Polish does everything other market leading polishes do, except it cuts faster, generates far less dust (almost none), buffs off more easily, leaves paint feeling smoother and finishes down incredibly well (it's pretty special in this respect). We guarantee you'll love it!
Gyeon Q²M Polish is a fast-acting abrasive paste designed to permanently remove minor paint defects such as such as faint swirl marks, polishing holograms and wash marring from original and refinished paintwork, and produce a perfectly refined high gloss finish ready for the addition of protection. Comprising a unique blend of fine precision-milled Japanese diminishing abrasives suspended in a water-based emulsion, Gyeon Q²M Polish offers significant advantages over rival polishes in terms of extremely low dust production, incomparable finish quality and reduced working time. Free of silicones and fillers, it works best with medium foam polishing pads and performs equally well whether used in conjunction with free-spinning or gear-driven dual action polishers, making it ideal for both home and professional use.
You should use Gyeon Q²M Polish with a machine. For best results using a dual action polisher, Gyeon Q² Polish should be applied to freshly decontaminated and compounded paint using either a Lake Country Hydro-Tech Polishing Pad or a SCHOLL Concepts Spider Polishing Pad (if less cut is desired a Lake Country Hydro-Tech Finishing Pad is also a great choice). Only 3-4 pea-sized drops of product are required per 18" x 18" area, and these should be worked in thoroughly at 4000-5000 orbits per minute (speed 4-5 on most dual action polishers) until only a hint of oily residue remains. This residue should then be buffed off carefully using a PB Super Buffing Towel.
