Spotlessly clean rims right through to the back always make a car stand out, but getting them up to this standard is not always easy if you are a professional detailer, because more often than not you're starting from a position of neglect. In such cases, where the inner rims are thick with old brake dust, normal wheel brushes are sometimes too flexible and soft to get the job done, even with strong chemical assistance. This is where the EZ Detail GO EZ Brush comes in handy. Unlike the other brushes in the EZ Detail line up, which are extremely flexible and soft, the GO EZ Brush is a semi-rigid beast and much more heavy duty in nature. Indeed, it was designed and developed with professional detailers in mind, and is both chemically-resistant and able to withstand the rigors of long-term daily use. Like its siblings it does tend to throw off a fair amount of splatter, but as long as you stand over the wheel being cleaned rather than squatting in front of it then this can be largely avoided.
The GO EZ Brush is made in the USA by EZ Detail and is designed to meet the needs of professional detailers. A no-compromise approach was adopted during its design and development, and this shows in the end product. The EZ Detail GO EZ Brush features patented Nylex bristles, which are chemically-resistant and able to flatten down significantly, thus allowing narrow spoke gaps to be accessed safely and effectively. These bristles also feature a memory design, meaning that the intended shape of the brush can be restored at any point by soaking it in hot water. The main stem of the EZ Detail GO EZ Brush is made of semi-rigid polypropylene. The non-flexing nature of this stem affords the user more scrubbing power, and therefore makes lighter work of tackling seriously neglected rims. If you are looking for a heavy duty wheel cleaning brush capable of standing the rigors of day to day professional use then the EZ Detail GO EZ Brush is the one for you.
Care instructions: (i) rinse out frequently during and after each use, in order to keep the bristles free of grit and other debris; (ii) store hanging up while not in use, so as to ensure that the brush keeps its intended shape; and (iii) restore bent or flattened bristles by standing the brush in a bucket of hot water for a couple of minutes - this will trigger the memory design of the bristles, causing them to magically return to their correct position (this process can be repeated as often as necessary to restore the intended shape of the brush, although storing it properly will pretty much guarantee it remains in tip top condition).
