Dual Action Flexible Backing Plates

Our Dual Action Flexible Backing Plates are widely used by major European car manufacturers in their assembly plants and are considered by many to be the finest backing plates available on the market today. The flexible urethane design offers several advantages over rigid backing plates. Firstly, the velcro hook and loop fastening material is moulded into the plate, eliminating the risk of delamination. Secondly, the urethane body reduces spontaneous heat build-up when moving from flat to contoured surfaces and vastly reduces heat transfer from the motor. Thirdly, the design is reinforced internally using steel struts moulded into the centre hub, which gives superior strength whilst keeping the weight down.
