Although our standard services all involve the use of top quality products, we also offer a number of specialist treatment options too. If you insist on the best then the following upgrades are likely to appeal. The Swissvax treatment involves products developed over three generations and with Swiss know-how, while the GYEON options show off the latest advances in silicon technology, and deliver unparalleled levels of protection and durability. If you need help deciding which upgrade would best suit your car we will be happy to advise.
Swissvax have been developing and perfecting their high performance car care system since 1930 and today the Swissvax name is universally recognised as the leading brand in car care. Every single Swissvax product is still crafted and, where applicable, poured by hand not only for traditional reasons but also because the highly complex formulations and rather sensitive ingredients are not suited to the application of modern industrial processes. The Swiss reputation for quality and precision is echoed in all of the products, and the refusal to accept any compromises in the manufacturing process is just one of the reasons why Swissvax products are so widely admired throughout the world today. If quality and a strong sense of heritage are important to you, and you only want Swissvax products to be used on your car, then this upgrade is for you.

The legendary Swissvax Crystal Rock is used to add long-lasting protection
GYEON Q2 MOHS+ is a state of the art quartz coating system that simultaneously protects and enhances the appearance of automotive paint. Put very simply, it is the most advanced paint protection system in the world today, and is backed by a two year warranty provided by GYEON and supported by the certified GYEON detailer who applies it (in this case us). Why exactly is GYEON Q2 MOHS+ so good, and how does it differ from the so-called long-life paint protection packages offered by dealerships? Answers to these questions lie in its unique two-stage formula, which lays down a thick hybrid film of organic-silica that increases in molecular weight as it cures, forming an amorphous organic-silica nano-composite. None of the systems that dealerships offer work in the same way; they lay down organic polymers that cross-link weakly with painted surfaces, forming a temporary sacrificial coating that is readily eroded by cleaning chemicals and natural solvents. In contrast, GYEON Q2 MOHS+ lays down a structurally denser layer of inorganic and organic components that cross-links very strongly with painted surfaces, forming a semi-permanent protective coating that is impervious to cleaning chemicals and natural solvents. Indeed, this coating is actually hard enough (and thick enough) to significantly improve the scratch resistance of treated finishes, with each application typically adding four grades of hardness to the finish on the Mohs scale.
In addition to the chemical- and scratch-resistant properties outlined above, GYEON Q2 MOHS+ also provides excellent levels of protection against bird droppings, bug splatter, road salt and harmful UV radiation for upwards of two years at a time, even on cars used as daily drivers. Furthermore, it also causes treated surfaces to become both water hating (hydrophobic) and oil-repellent (lipophobic), which gives rise to a strong self-cleaning effect. This means that your car will stay cleaner for longer in between washes, and will acquire fewer bonded contaminants (e.g. tar spots) over time. Moreover, it will also be less susceptible to acts of vandalism; the same coating technology has recently been adopted by many rail operators as it ensures that paint (e.g. graffiti) remains easy to remove, even if it has dried. Notwithstanding everything said so far, perhaps the single greatest benefit that GYEON Q2 MOHS+ offers is the fact that it really will last for upwards of two years, even if you have your car decontaminated on a regular basis during that period (e.g. to remove tar spots). This would simply not be possible with any of the so-called long-life paint protection packages offered by dealerships, as they cannot survive being treated with spirit-based tar removers (whereas GYEON Q2 MOHS+ is unaffected by them). As we said at the beginning, GYEON Q2 MOHS+ is quite simply the most advanced paint protection system in the world today, and represents the pinnacle of car care technology at the present time. If you want the best possible protection for your bodywork, then this upgrade is for you.
GYEON Q2 MOHS+ offers market leading levels of hybridised organic-silica protection
GYEON Q2 MOHS+ strongly repels water and all forms of environmental contamination
GYEON Q2 MOHS+ is guaranteed to perform as expected for a minimum of two years
This package builds upon the GYEON Q2 MOHS+ Bodywork Treatment outlined above by incorporating dedicated quartz coating treatments for the rims (GYEON Q2 RIM), brake calipers (GYEON Q2 RIM), tyres (GYEON Q2 TIRE), exhaust tips (GYEON Q2 RIM), exterior trims (GYEON Q2 TRIM), glass (GYEON Q2 VIEW), interior fabrics (GYEON Q2 FABRICCOAT) and any leather present (GYEON Q2 LEATHERCOAT). Its sole purpose is to encase your car in a shell of ultra-durable silica-based protection that will fend off dirt and contaminants, and preserve it in as new condition for many years to come (the GYEON Q2 MOHS+ coating for the bodywork is guaranteed to last for a minimum of two years from the date of application). Put simply, we cannot offer you any better than this package; it represents the pinnacle of car care technology and the state of our art at the present time. The entire procedure typically takes between 12-16 hours (which includes force-curing the coatings by baking them at 60°C for 10 minutes using an infrared heat lamp), necessitating that the work is spread over two working days, although large estate cars and 4x4 vehicles may have to remain with us for an extra day in some cases.
