Whilst we pride ourselves on introducing innovative new car care products to the UK market on a regular basis, we aren't too proud to admit that sometimes we do slip up and fail to take on certain lines quickly enough. Collinite products have been available in the UK for several years now, and in all honesty we have overlooked them until now. However, on the back of lots of requests for us to stock the products, we acquired a sample set and tested them over the winter. This proved to be a great decision given how brutal the winter was this year, and we're sold; Collinite products rock in terms of durability, and their Insulator Wax (845) is no exception, giving a great finish and up to six months of protection per application. Very impressive!
Collinite Insulator Wax (845) is a heavy duty liquid wax that was originally designed for industrial use, but its usage and performance characteristics also make it ideal for automotive use in situations where ease of use and durability are paramount, such as fleet maintenance for example. Like other Collinite products, it is very easy to apply and contains no cleaners or abrasives of any kind, meaning that it can be easily layered. If you are looking for a highly durable, time saving car wax then Collinite Insulator Wax (845) ticks all the right boxes.
Collinite Insulator Wax (845) should only be applied by hand. For best results, it should be applied to perfectly clean surfaces as thinly and evenly as possible using a Meguiar’s Foam Applicator Pad or a Meguiar’s Microfibre Applicator Pad. The resulting film should be left to cure for between 5-10 minutes, and then buffed off carefully using a PB Deluxe Buffing Towel.
