Car shampoos rarely capture the attention of car care enthusiasts in the same way that last step products do. However, they do play an important role in helping to keep paint defects at bay. As a result, you shouldn't settle for any old shampoo, even if funds are tight. Instead, pick one that cleans gently, feels well lubricated, rinses easily and leaves existing layers of paint protection intact. Carlack Shampoo ticks all of these boxes and is a pleasure to use.
Carlack Shampoo is a pleasantly scented shampoo that cuts through road grime with ease. Despite this, it does not strip existing layers of sealant or wax protection, nor does it dry out or otherwise degrade rubber seals or plastic trims. Special lubricants give a satin-like feel as you wipe exterior surfaces clean, while long lasting suds help to lift dirt and grime away safely. In addition to cleaning well, Carlack Shampoo also rinses away quickly and easily.
For best results, use at a dilution rate of 325:1 (water:product), which equates to 50 ml in a PB Clear Wash Bucket. Simply add the correct amount of shampoo to your suds bucket and then fill it to the top with a stream of warm water, stirring it as you do so. If your water pressure is low and relatively few suds are produced, blast a little cold water into the bucket with your hose or pressure washer (making sure that you submerge the nozzle first); this will generate more suds.
