Blackfire Tyre & Wheel Cleaner

Blackfire Tyre & Wheel Cleaner is a very cool product in as much that it offers an excellent level of cleaning performance, yet does not rely on strong chemicals to achieve this. This makes it ideal for regular use on sensitive rims, and in particular on high performance cars whose wheels are prone to heavy accumulations of brake dust which normal wash shampoos struggle to shift. Furthermore, Blackfire Tyre & Wheel Cleaner really does deliver in terms of ease of use; its thin consistency allows it to be applied quickly and worked into even very complex wheel designs with ease, while it also rinses freely and easily to leave tyres and rims streak and spot free. In short, Blackfire Tyre & Wheel Cleaner is an excellent choice of product for safe and effective wheel cleaning duties in situations where heavy accumulations of brake dust and road grime are proving too tough for normal wash shampoos to fully remove.

Blackfire Tyre & Wheel Cleaner is a detergent-based wheel and tyre cleaner that contains no acids, petroleum-based solvents, butyls or butyl ethers of any kind. Instead, it relies on cutting-edge non-ionic surfactant technology to gently break down and loosen tough deposits of brake dust and road grime. Blackfire Tyre & Wheel Cleaner quickly and safely cleans tyres and all types of wheels, including billet aluminium, chrome plated, polished, anodised, painted and clearcoated rims. Unlike many of the more aggressive wheel cleaners available on the market today, Blackfire Tyre & Wheel Cleaner can be used repeatedly without any danger of causing etching or flaking, making it ideal for incorporating into your regular wash routine. While its thin consistency allows it to be applied quickly and worked into even very complex wheel designs with ease, it also rinses freely and easily to leave tyres and rims streak and spot free.

Blackfire Tyre & Wheel Cleaner comes pre-diluted to the correct strength for safe use on all wheel types, and should thus be used neat. For best results, we recommend that it is sprayed on liberally and then agitated thoroughly using suitable brushes and/or a microfibre wash mitt (ideal choices include EZ Detail Wheel Brushes, PB Wheel Woolies and the Meguiar’s Microfibre Wash Mitt). This will produce a rich foaming lather, which will quickly discolour as brake dust and road grime is progressively released. Accordingly, it is sensible to rinse out your brushes and/or wash mitt regularly during this process, otherwise there is risk of marring or even scratching your rims. The lather should then be rinsed away thoroughly with an open ended hose and the wheels then fully dried off before any rim protection or tyre dressing is applied.
