Blackfire All Finish Paint Protection is one of the very best synthetic paint sealants on the market today, and is used frequently in our studio. Incredibly easy to apply by hand or dual action machine, it delivers a jaw dropping finish characterised by pin-sharp reflectivity, excellent flake pop and a truly liquid-like level of glossiness. Like most synthetic polymer-based sealants, it falls down a little bit in terms of richness and beading strength, but more than makes up for this in terms of slickness and durability; in our experience, a lifespan of between three to four months per application on a daily driver is easily achievable. In terms of suitability, we favour using Blackfire All Finish Paint Protection on mid-tone metallic and pearlescent finishes, although in truth it delivers a great looking finish on most colours. Also worth pointing out is the fact that we really rate its use on ultra-soft paint finishes where maximum ease of use is paramount; no other last step product we stock buffs off as easily.

Blackfire All Finish Paint Protection is a synthetic paint sealant that combines a revolutionary new crystal super-polymer developed by Wacker-Chemie in Germany with Polycharger technology (Polycharger is a chemical additive that actively bonds protective polymers together during the curing process to create a polymer barrier with greatly enhanced durability). This new crystal super-polymer has a unique structure that refracts light in a similar way to a diamond and produces a finish with a level of liquidity very close to that given by a high quality natural carnauba wax. The unique oil in water emulsion is safe for all painted surfaces and can be layered many times without any fear of causing hazing or discoloration. Blackfire All Finish Paint Protection wipes on and off very easily, offers a high level of protection and water repellency, and typically gives up to four months of protection on a daily driver following a single application.

Blackfire All Finish Paint Protection can be applied equally well by hand or dual action machine. For best results by hand, it should be applied to freshly polished paint using a Blackfire Ultimate Applicator Pad. Only 2-3 pea-sized drops of product are required per panel, and these should be applied as thinly and evenly as possible to produce a film that should then be allowed to cure for up to 15 minutes. Once hazed over, this film should then be buffed off carefully using a Poorboy’s Deluxe Mega Towel. For best results using a dual action polisher, Blackfire All Finish Paint Protection should be applied to freshly polished paint using a Lake Country 140 mm Ultimate Last Step Pad. Only 1-2 pea-sized drops of product are required per panel, and these should be worked in thoroughly at around 3000-4000 orbits per minute (speed 3-4 on most dual action machine polishers) until only a thin film remains. After being allowed to haze over for up to 15 minutes, this film should then be buffed off carefully using a Poorboy’s Deluxe Mega Towel.
