This excellent value for money Auto Finesse kit provides everything you need to prepare, protect and maintain your paint properly. Auto Finesse Soul is an entry level wax that delivers a superb finish characterised by intense richness, amazing water beading and a liquid-like level of glossiness. Like most natural carnauba waxes, it falls down a little bit in terms of reflectivity and flake pop, and also has relatively limited durability due to the limited carnauba content; a lifespan of three months per application is to be realistically expected. In terms of suitability, it delivers a very eye catching, ultra wet looking finish on all paint types and colours.
Step 1 – Auto Finesse Tripple
Auto Finesse Tripple should be applied to freshly clayed paint using the supplied Meguiar’s Microfibre Applicator Pad. Only 3-4 pea-sized drops of product are required per panel and these should be wiped in as thinly and evenly as possible to produce a film that should then be allowed to dry for up to 15 minutes. Once hazed over, this film should then be buffed off carefully using the supplied PB Super Buffing Towel.
Step 2 – Auto Finesse Soul
Auto Finesse Soul should be applied to three to four panels at a time and as thinly and evenly as possible using the supplied Auto Finesse Waxmate XL. The resulting film should then be buffed off within a few minutes of application using the supplied PB Deluxe Buffing Towel; there is absolutely no need to allow the film to dry fully before it is removed (if you do, you will find that is more difficult to remove).
Step 3 – Auto Finesse Finale
Lightly mist Auto Finesse Finale over a single panel at a time and immediately wipe the panel down to spread a thin, even film of product using the supplied PB Luxury Buffing Towel. Then refold your towel and buff the panel down carefully to fully remove the film and reveal an intense streak-free shine.
Care instructions for applicators and towels
(i) wash after each use in a washing machine at a low temperature (40 °C) using a non-biological liquid detergent (avoid soap powders and detergents containing bleach or fabric softeners); (ii) allow to dry naturally on a line or tumble dry on a cool heat setting (avoid radiators and other sources of high heat), and; (iii) store in a dry, dust-free environment whilst not in use (lidded plastic storage boxes are ideal in this respect).
