Auto Finesse Imperial is a concentrated wheel cleaner that offers an excellent level of cleaning performance, yet it does not rely on strong acids to achieve this. This makes it ideal for regular use on clearcoated rims, and in particular on high performance cars whose wheels are prone to build ups of brake dust that normal shampoo struggles to shift. Furthermore, Auto Finesse Imperial really does deliver in terms of ease of use; its thin consistency allows it to be applied quickly and worked into even very complex wheel designs with ease, while it also rinses freely and easily to leave tyres and rims streak and spot free. For your convenience, two versions are available, but please note that you will need to purchase a separate bottle and sprayer for use with the concentrate option.
Auto Finesse Imperial is a detergent-based wheel cleaner that safely and effectively breaks the bond between brake dust and wheel surfaces. Two versions of the product are available; a pre-diluted option (10:1, water:product) and a full strength concentrate. The pre-diluted version is usually sufficient for routine wheel cleaning, but can struggle to remove baked-on brake dust from badly neglected rims. In such cases, the concentrate can be diluted 4:1 or 2:1 in order to greatly increase cleaning power. Highly effective yet ultra safe, Auto Finesse Imperial is suitable for all wheel types, with the exception of polished metal, chrome plated and anodised rims.
Auto Finesse Imperial is available in two forms; a pre-diluted option (10:1, water:product) and a full strength concentrate. Please note that the concentrate must be diluted to an appropriate strength in suitable spray bottle before use. For normal cleaning, a dilution ratio of 10:1 (water:product) is usually sufficient, but this can be reduced to 4:1 or even 2:1 for tackling really neglected wheel surfaces. In all cases, an appropriately diluted solution should be sprayed on directly and then agitated thoroughly using suitable brushes and/or a microfibre wash mitt (ideal choices include EZ Detail Wheel Brushes, PB Luxury Wheel Woolies and the Meguiar’s Microfibre Wash Mitt). This will produce a rich foaming lather, which will quickly discolour as brake dust and road grime is progressively released. Accordingly, it is sensible to rinse out your brushes and/or wash mitt regularly during this process, otherwise there is risk of marring or even scratching your rims. The lather should then be rinsed away thoroughly with an open ended hose and the wheels then fully dried off before any rim protection or tyre dressing is applied.
