Auto Finesse Aqua Coat

We Say

Auto Finesse Aqua Coat has been developed in response to the surge in popularity of silica-based coatings and complementary wet maintenance sprays in recent years. The growth of this niche in the market has left some brands on the back foot, but Auto Finesse have acted quickly and formulated their very own silica-based wet maintenance spray. Whether or not they end up releasing their own range of coatings remains to be seen, but what we can say for sure is Auto Finesse Aqua Coat is a very good product. It behaves much like Gyeon Q²M WetCoat, and performs similarly too. While not breaking any new ground, it's a solid addition to the Auto Finesse range.

Description

Auto Finesse Aqua Coat is a silica-based wet maintenance spray, designed to be applied during the rinse stage of a routine wash. As a result of being treated with Auto Finesse Aqua Coat, exterior surfaces become extremely hydrophobic. This results in a sudden and dramatic improvement in water beading, and also helps to keep the treated surfaces cleaner in between washes, as less dirt and grime is able to adhere to them. This latter effect is particularly beneficial during the winter months, when washing becomes more of a chore. Durability is up to three months on a daily driver, although monthly applications are recommend to maintain maximum protection.

How To Use

Auto Finesse Aqua Coat comes pre-diluted to the correct strength for safe exterior use, and should be applied to cool, clean, wet surfaces at the end of your usual hand washing process. For best results, lightly mist Auto Finesse Aqua Coat on to small sections at a time (it's safe for use on all exterior surfaces) and then spread it as thinly and evenly as possible using a fresh wash mitt. After spreading it, allow it to dwell for a maximum of 1-2 minutes before rinsing it off thoroughly (the use of a pressure washer is recommended). Once all sections are treated rinse one final time (to ensure that every last trace of residue is fully removed) and then towel the car dry, or else rinse it again with filtered water if you intend to leave it to dry naturally. As an approximate guide, you should be able to treat an average-sized car using just 75 ml of product; a little goes a very long way when you apply it using the mitt method described above. Finally, note that you should never apply Auto Finesse Aqua Coat in direct sunlight or allow it to dry out before rinsing it off.
