303 Convertible Top Cleaner

303 Convertible Top Cleaner utilises very clever colloidal technology to safely lift dirt, grime, oils and stains from fabric and vinyl convertible tops. Although this technology is a little bit complicated (a formal explanation is given in the description tab), in essence it means that the cleaning action is the result of a gentle physical process rather than a strong chemical reaction. As a result, intensive cleaning can be performed without the need for strong chemicals, which makes 303 Convertible Top Cleaner the safest convertible top cleaner on the market today. In our studio, where the safety and care of our customers' cars is paramount, we wouldn't dream of using anything else for cleaning both classic and modern convertible tops.

303 Convertible Top Cleaner comprises a homogeneous blend of colloidal sequesterants, surfactants and hyper-wetting agents that form minute highly-active particles when combined together in solution. These particles repel one another but actively attract other molecules, which enables them to progressively lift and suspend dirt, grime and oils into solution. Once suspended, such soiling cannot recombine or become redeposited, and instead can be easily rinsed away. Unlike many rival products, 303 Convertible Top Cleaner does not contain soap, detergents, toxic organics, phosphates, nitrates or caustics, which makes it non-hazardous, non-flammable, non-toxic, non-explosive, non-fuming, non-caustic and 99% biodegradable.

303 Convertible Top Cleaner comes pre-diluted to the correct strength for safe use on all fabric and vinyl convertible tops, and should thus be used neat. For best results, we recommend that it is sprayed on liberally and then agitated lightly using suitable brushes or a non-linting wash mitt (for fabric tops the pairing of a Meguiar’s Triple Duty Detailing Brush with a Meguiar’s All Surface Interior Brush is ideal, while for vinyl tops a Meguiar’s Microfibre Wash Mitt is more suitable). This will produce a slightly foamy lather, which may discolour as any soiling is progressively released. The lather should then be rinsed away with an open ended hose and the convertible top then left to dry fully before any protection is added.
